All students follow English and Maths programmes; some will work towards Functional Skills, whilst others follow individual units in core subjects through the OCR Life and Living Skills programme or ASDAN Towards Independence. The core aim of our curriculum is to prepare students for life and work.

Students have a programme of options that they can choose to study that are accredited through the OCR Life and Living Skills framework, these include:

  • Art
  • Music
  • Horticulture
  • Food Technology
  • PE & Sport
  • Design & Technology

Students have opportunities to get involved in employability and enterprise activities including taking part in The Young Somerset Project, working at the SEN.se Pop-up Shop and undertaking work related learning at Secret World or other work related learning providers.
